This allows our customers to preview our candidates interview responses on-line with a simple click of a button. This process, in some instances, has completely eliminated the need for initial phone interviews. Our clients, without ever picking up the phone or sending and email, can provide us feedback through our on-line service, including, scheduling the candidates' next interview.

   Screening

At Avail Search Group we pre-screen all of our candidates.  Pre-screening your candidate is important for several reasons, it helps determine the strengths and weakness of each candidate, this assists in making the best match for both the candidate and the client.  It also educates the candidate when searching for the “right job.” This ensures that you are receiving quality candidates everytime; no exceptions.

 

Part of our unique and customized screening process includes conducting a personality profile that reveals the candidates personality traits such as:

  • Analyzer- Thinker, good with numbers, facts, figures, systems.  Things have to make sense, there is a right and a wrong and they keep people grounded.

  • Relater- Realist, needs to have everyone’s input, sweet person, caregiver, wants to make your life easier.
  • Initiator- Visionary, great communicator, likes to be the center of attention, likes control, not worried about the details.
    Driver- Assertive, decision maker, like control, gives command, likes choices, the clock is always ticking.

Included in the screening process is an evaluation of the candidates

  • Appearance – Are they professionally dressed and groomed?
  • Intellect – How do they respond to interview questions?  How much do they contribute to the interview?
  • Personality – Outgoing, reserved, talkative, analytical and direct.
    Communication- Articulation, proper use of diction and grammer.

   Testing

Skill assessment is very important when trying to locate a candidate that have either the very basic skills or the more advanced.  This allows for the client to make an educated decision about the candidate based upon their skills.  Avail Search Group will test for the basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Internet and email functions.  Clients that have further needs may utilize technical test, personality profiles or tests that they administer at their own location, Avail will administer.
 

   Background check

Avail Search Group immediately verifies: standard county felony and misdemeanor criminal history statewide and alias to ensure you are getting a quality candidate with a clean criminal history. 

 

    Drug Screens

Avail Search Group, Inc. will render a 10-panel drug screen administered by Quest Diagnostics at the client’s request
